GuardiCare was founded in 1969.
What is your primary product or service?
GuardiaCare provides 5 core programs and services to seniors and families: guardianship, financial management, Elder Life Navigator, power of attorney, and elder mediation.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The organization was founded by the outreach ministry of St. William's Catholic Church in Louisville, KY. By 1984, the program had grown large enough to incorporate as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
GuardiaCare is the only agency in Kentucky providing guardianship, financial and life management services under one roof for the benefit of seniors and caregivers.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
GuardiaCare operates from one office in the SoBro neighborhood of Louisville, KY.

The GuardiaCare office is located near Spalding University and Presentation Academy, south of downtown Louisville. The office is across the street from the 2nd St. Kroger parking lot. The office (215 W. Breckinridge St.) is located on the block between 2nd and 3rd Streets.
