How long have you been in business?
We have been in business 30 years now. It is a family-owned and operated business. Doiron owned, Doiron worked.
What is your primary product or service?
We work in Residential Remodeling with a lot of work in Additions, Kitchens and Baths, and Finished Basements. There is not too much we don't do within the home's structure, and to the exterior as well. We work very well in Ktichen and Baths, because we take charge of what can be a very hardware-heavy project for most homeowners. With an Architectural and Interior Designer in-house, it means we can take your ideas and put them onto paper for an estimate the is in alignment with those ideas.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As the designer, I have been designing since I can remember. I am highly creative and artistic. However, my husband's talent was revealed as a young man working with his father. He grew up as a long-distance runner, with a lot of discipline and a profound work ethic. It is this combination that takes the free-thinking creativity on to solid ground. This results in meeting and exceeding most people's expectations.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our company is very professional. We not only educate ourselves in the construction and design field, but we use practice proper business acumen with regard to invoicing and account management. We offer design assistance and provide detailed drawings so that all clients know what they are getting for their money. Many of our clients are repeat customers, coming back time and again for more work. When we are chosen by you for a project, we want you to feel like you have a contractor for life; Someone you can rely on and trust.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location, but most of our work is in the client's home as that is where the discussion need to be held. This allows us to give explanations of the work within the area of work. It creates a better understanding of what needs to be done.
What type of payments do you accept?
Most of our clients offer a check for any deposits. We don't customarily use Visa or Mastercard.
Which areas do you service?
We serve Metropolitan Lousiville, and Oldham Counties. We also go to Mt. Washington.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Donna Doiron, Paul Doiron, and Craig Doiron run the company. Donna manages Design and Administrative functions, Both Paul and Craig serve as Site Superintendents, and Vendor Management.
What are your hours of operation?
8-5 Monday through Friday. Those are our typical working hours on the sites also. We do not customarily work on the weekends so that our clients can rest and relax.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
"I love the job you did, but I also thoroughly loved the process. " This kind of compliment offers kudos for their satisfaction, but it indicates that they found the construction and finish process enjoyable, which it should be. Like all construction, there can be difficulties or inconveniences that we come across, but we try to be ready for those circumstances and absorb the stress from our clients. Most people become good friends of ours.
