How long have you been in business?
Our firm has been in business for over forty years.
What is your primary product or service?
Hays & Associates, Inc. provide an auction service accepting single items or entire estates. We also provide an appraisal service for estate taxation, insurance and donation purposes. Our appraisers are certified through two national appraisal services.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Both my wife and myself have grown up living with antiques and have always appreciated their quality and artistry. Having done extensive training and research over a forty year period, has greatly added to our knowledge.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Due to the qualifications and knowledge of our auctioneers and staff we are able to offer a full range of services. Our auction site is visited daily by international clientele. Our bulk e-mails featuring pictures and verbiage regarding each sale are sent to buyers across the country.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location with easy access to interstates and the airport. Having a large facility with a lot of square footage allows us to show case the furniture and accessories we sell. We also do numerous sales on location every year.

Our auction gallery is accessible from Lexington Road, Payne Street off Baxter, and Story Avenue directly off I-64 east.

We accept cash, check, and MC/VISA.

What are your hours of operation?
Mondays are open from 9 til 4:30 for auction preview with our auctions following on Tuesday starting at 9:30, consignments are regularly accepted on Wednesdays [call first] from 9 til 4. Sometimes Thursdays and Fridays are available with special request as we often fill up quickly and have no more room.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The best compliment we can receive is that our client/s find us thorough, professional and are pleased at having done business with us.
